01 · ABOUT
I'm Jj, a BSIT 2nd-year student and a RealLife BGC and Pasig City scholar. I started with video game commands, then hosting servers, and now writing actual software. Same curiosity, just with new tools.
I learn by building, breaking, and asking what's still missing. I study how enterprise systems solve problems, then refine my approach especially with databases and backend systems, I’d rather question the structure early than fix fragile logic later. If there’s a simpler solution, I will find it.
Languages are just tools. I translate clients’ unstructured needs into a working solution through interviews and frameworks, adapting as requirements evolve without being repetitive or forcing the client to design it all.

A full-scale desktop management system replacing an error-prone Excel workflow at the Pasig City Hall Animal Bite Treatment Center. Features patient record management, automated dose scheduling, statistics dashboards, and a dual-mode architecture — offline-first with SQLite, and a live sync to a remote PostgreSQL instance hosted on Fedora. Python handles machine learning on the backend. Built for reliability, data integrity, and a workflow that's 100× faster than spreadsheets.
An arcade survival game where you control a shark — dodge incoming bombs, catch fish to rack up points. Built in 4 days with a team of 2 developers and 1 graphic designer for a course requirement.
A retro-styled dice game with a Mario-inspired pixel aesthetic — designed and built in under an hour. A testament to quick execution under time pressure.
The first game I ever made with code. A side-scrolling arcade survival game where you control a frog jumping between incoming clouds. Miss a cloud and it's game over. Clouds speed up as your score climbs, and a high score tracker keeps it competitive. Built entirely in Scratch — gravity, jump physics, collision detection, score logic, costume swaps, and an 8-bit soundtrack, all wired together from scratch.
A desktop management system for a multi-branch training center. Handles course enrollment, branch-specific pricing and discounts, installment payment tracking, trainer assignment (lead, co-trainer, guest), and certification records. Designed with full normalization analysis (UNR → 3NF) and intentional denormalization for performance on overdue payment reports.
An academic sales management system featuring core business logic — transaction handling, inventory tracking, and reporting. Built to demonstrate proficiency in database-driven application development.
